Richard Morgan

After obtaining a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degree from the University of Birmingham, Richard worked as an external auditor for Arthur Andersen & Co for three and a half years, obtaining experience at a range of companies in diverse industry sectors. Richard then moved to work within internal audit at Wolverhampton City Council, where he remained for 24 years and attained the position of Senior Audit Manager, with responsibility for the delivery of audit services across the full range of Council activities.
Richard is vastly experienced in school and academy governance, serving as a school governor for in excess of 25 years. Richard currently serves as academy director at a Multi Academy Company, where he chairs the Finance and Resources and Audit Committees. Richard also serves as a governor at a primary school, where he chairs the Finance Committee.
Richard is a Chartered Internal Auditor (CMIIA).
Katy Morgan
Director
Following the completion of her education at Wolverhampton Girls’ High School, Katy embarked on a career in local government finance with Wolverhampton City Council. After experiencing a variety of financial roles within the Council, Katy settled on a career within internal audit, where she attained the position of Principal Auditor / Client Lead. In this role Katy led on the delivery of audit services to the Council’s education department, including schools. Katy also led on the development of internal audit services to academies.
Katy has considerable experience of serving as a school governor and as a member of Interim Executive Boards. Katy currently serves as an academy director at a Multi Academy Trust.
Katy is a Chartered Public Finance Accountant (CPFA).
